Room on ground floor the whole complex and facilities (swimming pool, extra places to sit down) the restaurant terrace quiet atmosphere

Very Good
A great period hotel with a history to tell. Nice outdoor pool and bar area. Breakfast and evening meal buffet style. 300m from Girona Barcelona railway line, great for city visits. Bed was comfy. Some other restaurants in Calde de Mallavella.
Rooms were a little tired, ours was second class or "interior" which was not made clear at booking. The decor was damaged and the sliding wardrobe door broken. There is no "restaurant". It contained an exhibition when we were there. It was called "Delicus" and we assumed it to be operational when booking. The booking.com website and photo set still suggests this is true. It is not, if you book then you eat in the buffet area with a special menu. The buffet is an eat as much as you like experience, it was rapid and soul-less. No romantic, charming holiday memories here.

We stayed only one night, so could not use the facilities, but altogether we had a pleasant stay.
Breakfast was very good. The fruit and pastry selection was pretty good
Furnitures in the room were a little worn. I find the 25€ extra charge for a small dog for a night way too much. Most hotels charge 10€, what is reasonable.

The lovely outdoor swimming pool. The quiet location. The restaurant served buffet style meals with a good choice of interesting items.
